Vietnam Airlines
Vietnam Airlines is the largest airline and national carrier of Vietnam.
Originally established in 1956 as Vietnam Civil Aviation, the airline became a
state-owned corporation in April 1989.
Vietnam Airlines has its main office located in Long Bien District, Hanoi,
with primary hubs at Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat
International Airport. As of March 2025, the airline operates more than 120
routes, offering flights to over 20 domestic locations and more than 30
international cities.
Vietnam Airlines has expanded its business into
aircraft leasing and ground handling services, and is exploring opportunities
in aircraft component production. The airline also manages its own freight arm,
Vietnam Airlines Cargo.
