If you have lost an item during your journey with Vietnam Airlines, you can follow these steps to report and recover it:

At the Airport

Immediate Action

If you notice a missing item at the airport or onboard soon after leaving the aircraft:

Lost Baggage: Head to the Lost and Found desk at your arrival airport to complete a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).

Personal Belongings: Reach out to the Vietnam Airlines Lost and Found office at the relevant airport for support.

Steps to Follow

Submit a PIR: Give complete details of your missing item including description, location, and estimated time of loss.

Item Search: Vietnam Airlines will investigate and update you if your item is recovered, arranging its return.

Online Submission

Vietnam Airlines provides an online Lost & Found form. You can report your lost item by visiting the airline’s official website and accessing the Baggage section.

Retrieving Your Lost Item

Located items are generally stored at either the airport Lost & Found or the airline’s designated office.

To Collect the Item

Ownership Confirmation: Offer a detailed description or unique features of the item.
Identification: Show valid personal ID to confirm your claim.
Contact: Use the relevant contact info above to coordinate pickup.

Important Reminders

Storage Period: Lost baggage is retained for up to 90 days. After this, storage charges may apply, or the item may be disposed of by Vietnam Airlines.

Responsibility: Vietnam Airlines’ responsibility for lost or damaged baggage follows international treaties and internal policies.
