Nusa Tenggara

Nusa Tenggara is actually two islands, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara taken together.

Though these two form the island of Nusa Tenggara yet they are absolutely different from each other, one can say, almost diametrically opposite.

The island of West Nusa Tenggara which is also known as part of the Lesser Sunda Islands, comprises of Bali and the lands eastward through Timor. The two major islands in this province are Lombok and Sumbawa.

West Nusa Tenggara is a land of many topographical features rolled into one, on the one hand is mountains, on the other lush green fields, on the one hand are the arid savannas, and on the other white virgin beaches.
