Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport

Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional Sisingamangaraja XII) (IATA: DTB, ICAO: WIMN) is an airport located in Siborong-Borong, North Tapanuli, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Distance from the Prapat town is about 47 mi (76 km). The airport serves as the main gateway to the nearby Lake Toba.

A highway linked between the Airport to Lake Toba has been planned and the construction work has been carried out.

Terminal Facilities

With the inauguration of the well equipped and modern terminal on 15 September 2017, the Airport now able to provided better and comfortable environment for its passengers.

The new terminal is able to increase the passenger capacity per year to more than half a million passengers.

The new terminal has a modern design and is equipped with additional amenities such as shops, food courts, executive break room, internet facilities, disabled toilets, prayers room, smoking room, as well as a room mother and child.

The operation of the Airport is managed by UPT Ditjen Hubud, an agency under Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia.

Taxi: Various taxi, minivan taxi and car rental services are provided by numerous service providers outside the arrival hall.

The new car parking facilities are now capable of accommodating 100 cars and 50 motorcycles and it is within walking distance outside the terminal.

The Airport is resides at an elevation of 1,420 metres (4,660 ft) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 09/27 with an asphalt surface measuring 2,650 m × 45 m (8,694 ft × 145 ft), capable of handling Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800.
