Passengers traveling with SriLankan Airlines are welcome to bring:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-On Allowance

Business Class passengers are permitted a maximum of 2 pieces of carry-on luggage, with a combined weight limit of 7 kg.

Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of carry-on luggage, with a weight limit of 7 kg. The carry-on baggage allowance is also specified on your e-ticket.

Each piece of hand luggage should not exceed 7 kg in weight and must have total dimensions of no more than 115 cm (length + height + width).

Checked Baggage Allowance

For routes excluding those to/from North, Central, and South America:

Each piece of checked baggage should not exceed 158 cm / 62 inches (115 cm / 45 inches for infants).

Dimensions = length + height + width

Note: Certain exceptions may apply based on specific routes, travel periods, or fare types.

For routes to/from North, Central, and South America:

Free Baggage  Allowance	23 kgs	32 kgs	23 kgs

Each piece of checked baggage should not exceed 158 cm / 62 inches (115 cm / 45 inches for infants).

Oversized Baggage Policy

If a piece of luggage exceeds a total dimension of 158 cm (length + height + width), a fee of USD 50 will apply per oversized bag. However, acceptance of oversized baggage depends on the aircraft type. Sporting equipment is handled separately.
