Airport Counter Check-in

For domestic trips without checked luggage, go directly to the boarding gate with a printed boarding pass and a valid photo ID at least 45 minutes before your flight's departure.

Check-in counters for Domestic Flights shut 45 minutes before the scheduled departure, while check-in counters for International Flights departing from airports in the Philippines and abroad close 60 minutes prior to departure (except for Quanzhou, which closes 45 minutes before departure).

Leave early and arrive at the airport no less than 3 hours before your flight for international journeys, and 2 hours before departure for domestic trips to allow sufficient time for immigration and security screening.

Boarding gates close strictly 15 minutes before the flight's departure time.

These policies may differ, however, so you should check with Philippine Airlines for its timings, rules and procedure that may apply during check-in.
