Oman Air offers adaptable cancellation and refund choices depending on the
ticket category, fare conditions, and destination. Travelers are advised to
check the terms of their fare prior to making any modifications or requesting a
refund.
Cancellation Policy
Refundable Tickets:
Travelers are allowed to cancel their booking and obtain a refund, with
applicable cancellation charges deducted.
Non-Refundable Tickets: These
fares are not eligible for refunds; however, in certain situations, a travel
credit may be issued for future use.
24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation: If
the booking is canceled within 24 hours of purchase and the departure is at
least seven days away, passengers may be eligible for a full refund.
No-Show Policy: If a traveler does not cancel before the flight and fails to
board, a no-show penalty will apply, and refunds may not be granted.
Refund Process
Refund applications can be made via Oman
Air’s official website, customer care center, or at one of their ticketing
locations.
Tickets purchased through travel agencies must be canceled and
refunded at the original booking source.
Refunds will be issued to the
original form of payment and may take between 7 to 30 working days, depending on
the financial institution or payment platform.
Flight Disruptions
In the event that Oman Air cancels a flight, travelers are eligible for
either a full refund or a complimentary rebooking on another available flight.
Additional compensation might be applicable under certain guidelines if the
disruption falls under the airline’s responsibility.
