Passengers traveling with EVA Air can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Online Check-in
You can check in online between 48 and
1.5 hours before your scheduled departure time. If you are traveling in Royal
Laurel Class, Premium Laurel Class, or Business Class, you can select from a
variety of regional meals between 21 days and 24 hours prior to departure. Seat
selection is available until 24 hours before the flight departure.
International passengers should ensure they arrive at the gate at least 30
minutes prior to departure.
Kiosk Check-in
EVA
Air offers self check-in kiosks at various airports, providing the convenience
of printing your boarding passes and baggage tags at the airport.
Airport Check-in
Ensure you allow ample time to complete
check-in and any required security, immigration, and/or customs procedures. The
operating hours of EVA check-in counters and the required pre-boarding times
vary by airport.
At a minimum, EVA Air recommends checking in at least
one hour before the scheduled departure for international flights. However, for
large, busy airports, especially those in the U.S., you may need up to three
hours due to strict procedures. Passengers requiring special assistance, such as
unaccompanied minors, disabled individuals, or those with mobility devices
(e.g., wheelchair or walker), should check in at least two hours before their
flight.
It is crucial to check in on time to avoid having your seat
released or being denied boarding. International passengers must be at the gate
no later than 30 minutes before departure.

counter hours and recommended check-in times for your departing airport by
contacting the EVA Airport Office.
Return Check-in
If you are departing from Taipei (TPE), Taichung (RMQ), Kaohsiung (KHH),
Hong Kong (HKG), Macau (MFM) and returning within 48 hours from the same city,
you can check in for your return flight at the same time as you check in for
your outbound flight. This service is particularly convenient for passengers
traveling without checked baggage.
These policies may differ, however, so you should check with EVA Air for its timings, rules and procedure that may apply during
check-in.
