Passengers traveling with EVA Air are welcome to bring:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-On Allowance

All carry-on baggage must fit either in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you. In addition to a personal item such as a coat, laptop, or handbag, EVA Air passengers are allowed one carry-on bag, with a total dimension (length + height + width) not exceeding 115 cm/45 inches and a weight limit of 7 kg/15 lbs.

Checked Baggage Allowance

For passengers traveling to/from the US, Canada, and some countries in South and Central America:

• Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
• Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight for all classes: 70 lb/32 kg

For passengers traveling to most other destinations:

• Maximum Weight for Premium Economy and Economy Class Passengers: 44 lb/20 kg total
• Maximum Weight for Business Class Passengers: 66 lb/30 kg total
• Maximum Weight for First Class Passengers: 88 lb/40 kg total

Excess, Overweight, and Oversize Baggage Fees

If you exceed the baggage allowance or your bags surpass the weight or dimension limits, additional charges will apply. Contact EVA Air for more details, as fees may vary depending on your destination and departure airport.

Sports Equipment

Certain sports equipment, due to its size, fragility, or special handling needs, may incur an excess fee, even if it replaces one of your allowed baggage pieces. Contact EVA Air for more information.
