If you have lost an item during your journey with Emirates, you
can follow these steps to report and recover it:
Lost Items at the Airport
If you have misplaced an item
at the airport (before check-in, during security screening, or after arrival),
please reach out to the Lost & Found department at the relevant airport.
Emirates does not manage lost items in airport terminals, baggage claim areas,
or security checkpoints.
Lost Items Onboard an Emirates Flight
If you lost something onboard an Emirates flight, it will be handed over to
the Lost & Found department at the airport of arrival.
You may contact
Emirates customer support or the Lost & Found office at your destination airport
to inquire about your missing item.
Lost Checked Baggage
(Delayed, Damaged, or Missing)
If your checked luggage is
missing, report it right away at the Emirates Baggage Services Desk at the
airport.
You will be provided with a Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
and a reference number to track your baggage.
Emirates utilizes the
WorldTracer system to assist in locating lost luggage.
If your baggage is
not located within 21 days, it may be deemed lost, and you could qualify for
compensation.
How to Report a Lost Item or Baggage Issue
Online: You can file a report on the Emirates website under the Lost & Found
section.
Phone or Airport Office: Contact Emirates customer service or
visit the Lost & Found office at your arrival airport.
