Passengers traveling with Air Macau can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:
Online Check-in
Travelers may complete check-in online
via Air Macau’s official website or mobile application beginning at 2:00 PM on
the day prior to their planned departure. This service enables passengers to
choose their desired seats and submit necessary travel information ahead of
time. Nevertheless, they are still required to visit the airport check-in desk
to receive their official boarding passes, hand over checked baggage, and finish
mandatory security formalities.
Self-Service Kiosks
At Macau International Airport, automated check-in kiosks are accessible
starting six hours ahead of the flight and remain open until 70 minutes before
takeoff. These kiosks are positioned in Departure Areas A, B, C, and D.
Passengers needing special assistance—such as expectant mothers, individuals
with limited mobility, those traveling with babies, or minors flying
alone—should head straight to the Air Macau counters located in Zone C.
Airport Counter Check-in
Those opting for conventional
check-in should reach the airport no less than two hours prior to flight time.
Typically, check-in desks shut 40 minutes before departure, though this may
differ by airport. For example, counters close 60 minutes ahead in Beijing, 50
minutes in Shanghai Pudong, and 45 minutes in both Hangzhou and Chongqing.
Important Notes
Passengers using the online check-in
option must still check in at the airport desk at least 10 minutes before the
counter closes. It is also crucial to confirm that all travel documentation is
current and available for inspection.
